B had his first haircut today! He sat on Mommy's lap and did really well. It helped that we went right before his nap, so he was pretty tired.

Practical, If Nothing Else
Last night, I had the opportunity to be creative with no distractions. (Thanks for hosting, Liz!) Out of probably 50 projects I currently would like to complete, I chose the most practical and useful one. Also, I might add the most "earth-friendly". I recently acquired a Swiffer WetJet when a sale and a coupon coincided a couple of weeks ago. The problem with these kind of contraptions are the way the companies try to keep you buying refills and new "throw-away" pads. I thought that there must be a better way out there since I had seen several tutorials on regular homemade/washable Swiffer pads. So, I put my thinking cap on and came up with an idea which I then ran by my friend Kristen last night. With a few alterations because of the placement of the squirter holes, I think we made a pretty good prototype which we then copied a couple more times. I had some towel scraps from this project and some white flannel type fabric that had one fuzzy side. I used it this morning and it worked perfectly. We'll see how it washes and holds up over time but I'm pretty satisfied with this cheap and green project.

Story Time
B's GG got him a couple of books recently and he loves them! As you read him the story, he always has some form of commentary about what is going on in the pictures. Oh to only know what the little guy is saying...

Swingin'
We have a playground outside our townhouse complex and yesterday Jeff and I took B for a swing session after dinner. He seemed to like it but was a little nervous. Sorry the picture is a little "Blair Witchey".
Don't mind the conversation. :-) We are talking to Matthew Hehman in the background as Ben swings.

Gotcha!
B found himself in a bit of a conundrum this morning....
As part of our design scheme in the living area of the townhouse, we have a collapsible hamper which we use to collect B's clothes. This morning he decided to up the ante on his fun with the hamper. He removed all of the clothes from it like usual but then decided it would be fun to climb inside it. Since he was so quite, I went over to see what he was doing and found this...
